Coaching - The European Ryder Cup Captain, Colin Montgomerie will visit the Club to meet the junior section. He will conduct a golf clinic and offer tips to the junior section to improve their golf.

Ryder Cup - Ten people attend the practice day and opening ceremony of the Ryder Cup on the 30th September in the Captain's Hospitality, an exclusive hospitality area for the European Ryder Cup Captain. They will receive lunch, drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres

Maggie's Centres provide practical and emotional support to people living with cancer and their families, friends and carers. There are currently six Maggie's Centres across the UK and there are plans for a further six to open by 2012.

At Maggie's each person who visits a centre is helped to find the best way of coping with their diagnosis and all of the services are free of charge.

Elizabeth Montgomorie Foundation

The Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation was established by the Scots golfer Colin Montgomerie in memory of his late mother Elizabeth, to provide support to people affected by cancer. In its first project, The Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation is raising funds to build a new Centre in conjunction with Maggie's to provide practical and emotional support to cancer patients, their families and carers.
